Reap

Agony rising,

The sting of pain surprising

Eyes gone dry,

The dull fatigue,

Of years gone by

The droop of skin,

The wisdom within,

Holds strong therein

Tales of yore,

Attract young minds forevermore

Till the very last whispered breath,

The icy grasp of endless Death

I've suffered from depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem for many years. When my son was diagnosed with Autism, my depression took a turn for the worse. This is just one personal journey of healing and finding oneself.
